Changes in laws and advances in technology have greatly increased the number of students in school who need nursing services, and the most common service needed is medication administration during the school day.The purpose of this website is to help make sure that this important function is carried out in a way that is safe for the student and for the school staff and consistent with the policies and procedures of the Clay County School District.  

The  site includes an online training course for school district staff assisting with medication administration under school nurse supervision.  It also includes resources to help the school nurse and others manage this task.
